Critical Links was spun-off in 2006 from Critical Software Inc, a successful IT services company specializing in real-time systems for defense, aerospace and telecommunications and solid reputation for software reliability (CMM-5, ISO9001, Spice).

Critical Links is a venture backed company headquartered in Fairfield, New Jersey, and with offices throughout Europe, Africa and India. The education appliance product is commercialized worldwide through a network of channel partners. Worldwide there’s an estimated 100.000 users currently being served by Critical Links in five continents, and growing rapidly.

Critical Links’ education appliance (built on the edgeBOX hardware) provides the learning, networking and administration capabilities necessary to support a highly interactive and content rich educational experience and has been deployed in the world’s largest school modernization program.

The eA60 and eA100 (education appliance series) deliver an e-learning platform for up to 100 students, while the eA500 and eA1000 (education appliance series) provide scalable platforms that support sophisticated learning, networking and administration capabilities for schools of up to a thousand students.

Critical Links has also established partnerships with key industry players that enhance the product value proposition, and add value to the end users, including Intel (Platforms), Polycom (Phones) and Digium/Asterisk (TDM cards).
