The Critical Links education alliance is a strategic partnership program that aims to deliver leading edge technologies, products and services to enable Schools 2.0.
Purpose
- To develop a strategic ecosystem that will deliver ICT infrastructure and applications for Schools 2.0.
- The alliance comprises leaders in the entire value chain for Schools 2.0 and collectively offers a One-Stop Shop. In effect, such an ecosystem will deliver a ‘School in a Box’ offering, an integrated, comprehensive, and economically viable solution.
- By delivering a complete solution (School in a Box), the Critical Links education alliance will simplify the deployment and implementation significantly. These attributes will be a competitive advantage to all the members of the alliance, especially since there does not exist any such alliance at this time.
The members of this alliance share a collective vision of the next-generation of schools and recognize that an ecosystem needs to be in place to serve this emerging opportunity effectively. Members of this alliance have typically established leadership in their domain of expertise, and collectively offer a best-of-breed solution.

eA Series 500/1000
The Education appliance eA500 and eA1000 are devices that form the core communications and networking infrastructure of a next-generation school's ICT infrastructure. They are typically deployed by themselves or along with one or more eA60/eA100 education appliances and manage their learning capabilities in an optimal fashion.
It is the natural platform to administer the school population as well as enforce school wide policies. It also serves as the interface amongst Schools as well as between the School and the higher educational authority.
eA Series 60/100
The education appliance series eA60 and eA100 are devices that enhance the 1:1 learning capabilities in a classroom or a small school environment of up to 100 students. It supports a content-rich and interactive experience designed to make learning more effective and fun. It typically works in conjunction with student laptops.
The education appliance platform (eA60/eA100) supports all learning, networking and administration activities. Storage and delivery of content and applications, as well as management of the student laptops can be supported by the education appliance series eA60/eA100.
