The Intel-powered classmate PC (CMPC) and the education appliance work together seamlessly providing such features as CMPC real time theft deterrence, backup and restore of CMPC OS and data, remote CMPC configuration and application access control. Combining CMPC’s education appliance server based control with its sturdiness makes it an ideal solution for K-12 schools.
